Needs Thermal Lenses |

This is a great mask - I like the profile of it and the fact that it extends down further than many masks, meaning it does a better job of protecting the neck. That fact can sometimes get in the way when trying to turn your head, but it's not a major problem.
I've been using the same mask for quite some time now, and it's been through a lot. Make sure you buy a thermal lens for it though, or else it'll fog up like nobody's business. After installing a thermal lens, I have had no fogging problems and this mask is as effective as the $70+ masks my friends use.

X-Fire Mask |

The main reason I chose this mask over any other mask was its narrow design. The first mask I used was made by V-force. Fantastic piece of equipment, no doubt, but once I added a stock the wide cheek plates absolutely did not allow for any 'snugging up' to the gun in order to use iron sights or scope. An off-set rail/scope combo fixed this inital problem but also came with major drawbacks (leaning around corners to sight a target with this set up severly exposes oneself to fire). This mask, in addition to a raised sight rail comfortably fixed the problem. I have yet to use it in play, which makes me a bit apprehensive about my 5 star rating, but I am fairly confident it will do just fine. Worth the buy, especially for the price.

I use this mask a lot and it is a good mask. You can't beat the price on it for what you are getting! I would recommend this as a great starter mask for anyone.
