Description   The Commando Edition Throat Mic allows a user to communicate using a throat mic while staying discrete with a sound tube instead of a conventional ear bud. Now even with running and jumping through the woods dodging paint, the sound tube will not fall out of the ear.  Because of its slimmer design, it fits comfortably under any mask. The sound tube can be cut shorter to fit different sized ears. The Commando also includes a Weatherproof PTT for tough outdoor situations, so now you can play in the rain, mud, or dust and not worry about damaging your Fire Fox communication equipment!   Features Fits Motorola Visar, T200, T5000, T6000 and 7200 series; Cobra PR240, PR245, 350WX, 375WX, 550WX, 3000WX, 3100WX, 4000WX and 4200WX radios. Also compatible with all other radios using the single prong style plug. This Throat Mic will not be be VOX compatible on the following Radio Models: Cobra PR240, PR350WX, PR550WX, PR300, PR4000WX, Garmin Rino 110, 120, and Audiovox GMRS200W. Better than expected March 21, 2009 Reviewer: Tyler Hild from Pennsburg, PA United States   When i got this throat mic and realized just how small the neck piece was i was a little skeptical. Even with a thick neck it fits on there and doesn't fall off. What's more is that if somehow it does twist so that the mic isn't right on my throat it still picks up crystal clear sound. The sound tube makes it so that you can jack up the volume and not worry about "enemies" being able to hear it. The PTT is much more convenient on the wrist than on the mic like other units. Good, but not durable May 18, 2007 Reviewer: Quinn Montgomery   This throat mic is great when it works, but is very easily broken.  The sound tube speaker was broken when I bought it.  I sent it back to foxfire who sent me a brand new one free. The speaker broke again after a single use.  Foxfire's customer service is great, but their product needs work. Was this review helpful to you?
