This barrel shroud is exactly as advertised. It's strong, durable and just plain mean looking. I dropped the 12" version on my basement floor, right on the edge of the business end, and I thought I damaged it. Turns out the mark wiped right off because it's harder than my concrete floor. Although a little pricey, it's worth the cash IMHO. In fact, I liked it so much I bought the 6" for a shorty look and added a Dishka to it (now my primary setup). And my brother-in-law liked it so much, he bought mine and I'm going to buy another (the 9" for my Bullpup). The only detraction, if you can call it that, is that it mounts with an integral barrel adapter and so limits some modding options, but it's certainly better than using set screws on an expensive barrel. So, if you like the look and have the cash, buy it. You won't regret it.
P.S. To answer the previous poster's question, you cannot mount anything to it. Just buy a bipod that mounts to the foregrip area and use a mag for a foregrip.

This is good quality stuff. Well made(aircraft aluminum). Adds a nice pop sound when you shoot, and just looks sweet.

Strong, Reliable, and Sexy |

I love my SR-9 shroud. I am using with a dishka and 6" barrel and love the look. The power that the combination gives to the marker is great. I would recommend this to anyone! You do need to change your barrel reciever, but it's not to dificult to do.
