Description   The SUREFIRE FM13 Infrared Filter cancels out the non-infrared portion of the light spectrum to produce a smooth beam of infrared light for use with night vision devices and infrared-capable video cameras. Applying thumb pressure to the locking tab releases the cover; a spring mechanism keeps the open cover out of the way by holding it flat against the flashlight. A cam-locking lever keeps the entire unit securely attached to the flashlight. For flashlights with a 1.25" diameter bezel. Surefire FM33 Infrared Filter August 1, 2009 Reviewer: Raven_3A from Southern IL, United States   The FM33 is extremely well built as can be expected from surefire.  It fits my G2 Nitrolon extremely tight and my SwatForce tac light just right.  A single wrap of duct tape or similar (electrical or "100 MPH" tape) around the bezel is all that is needed to make the FM33 fit equally well on the Surefire G2L L.E.D. light.  It stays secure on the bezel and opens quicky yet compactly if white light is desired and the spring hinge keeps the lense up out of the way securely when not in use.  If not using NVD/Infrared optics, this unit also doubles as a lense cover to prevent accidental activation as an interesting footnote.  No light leaks from the rear or the lense area so your nighttime concealment will never be comprimised.  5 ***** stars!
