I bought the silver color to match my SS .22cal Ruger MKIII pistol and when I opened the box I instantly noticed the sights quality was far better than others of the same price. This is metal sight, not plastic and it comes in a padded box with a lens cloth, Allen wrench, mini screw driver, instructions, warranty info, & two batteries (one in the sight & one spare). Sight looks very nice installed on my pistol and it works great. I will recommend these sights for .22 caliber pistols

This is a great product hands down the best red dot sight you could get.But.. The price on this sight is horrible.I play paintball and I have an a5, I went to tippmannpros.com (you might have to google it) went to the tippmann a5 sight category and got it for 10 bucks.I use opsgear alot but found that tippmannpros prices are much cheaper for the same things.

This red dot is comparable to tasco, It is functional but lacks the quality of high end red dot sights. NC star is a bargain brand, now that might not always mean low quality but using it in the field, it has broken on me, the water resistant seal broke and now i have fog issues. this is not mil spec.

i spent almost a year trying to find the perfect sight for my a-5 and this is the best i have ever used. it has 4 different rectiles (i use the circle with the dot in the middle) so u can use wichever 1 u want. go to canadianpaintball.com for a better price

It requires CONSTANT cleaning and configuring. one single scratch and its useless. also it only works when viewing at the right angle and distance from the sight, and does not fit directly on some gun mounts. it is very cool and stylish looking but I end up just leaving it behind because its kinda useless. all that for 100$ and I have seen it cheaper in other online stores/auctions.

Excellent sight but a frail lens	July 16, 2007

This sight is just awesome and it is by far supperior to any other i've bought before, the target acquisition time is blazing fast, the crosshair is very bright and can be easily seen even in day light. The reflex lens create a cylinder that help you even more to find the crosshair efficiently. But even if this sight work flawlessly, you have a big problem if you play paintball. The lens is a bit frail and the first paintball hitting my sight lens in a direct hit just cracked it horizontally from one side to the other right in the middle of the lens. I fear the next hit will just shatter it :(

Opsgear customer service told me : "Unfortunately we do not carry any replacement lenses and I don't know any place to suggest that would have one, your best option will be to try to replace the lens on your own."

So, keep in mind that if like me you have a cracked lens at some point you will have to deal with it on your own. I'm about to contact NcStar directly to see if they can help me.

I bought this product to fit to my SP-8 paintball marker. I chose this particular sight as I wanted something that could easily be used with a paintball mask. This sight was perfect as it is extremely easy to use even with a paintball mask on. The reticles are extremely bright and easily visible, they can also be adjusted in brightness. The ability to choose from four different reticles gives the product that 'customised' feel, allowing for personal preference. I also liked the fact that it came with a spare battery (only time will tell how long they last!), a cleaning cloth for the lens and a protective case for the lens. My only concern would be how well the lens would hold up to a direct shot! However, it does look pretty sturdy and it would be quite a shot to hit the lens direct! Overall, very good product in a neat and practicle package.

Im not a big fan of the red dot in sights but I like having the option to change the sight from a dot to cross hairs to circle.Very handy for aiming.
