one of the greatest items i have ever used July 19, 2009
Reviewer: Anonymous person from Nova Scotia, Canada
to states my credentials i have used parachute cord for years in many rols

as a military cadet
a firefighter
backpacking
and everyday use

it really is the best thing out there you can use it to make lanyards for knives, flashlights etc you can also make a very simple 2 point sling for a rifle

you can also use the cord to attach items to your pack or other equipment

one time the bag on an old rucksack was loose and would slide around the frame so using paracord and 100 MPH tape to secure the bag to the frame made that ruck good as new even while hauling 35 pounds of gear

small rope September 4, 2008
Reviewer: Cleve  Napier from Clayhole, KY United States
the rope is small so it doesn't have as many practial purposes as i origanilly thought. it's best to get the rope if u have intermediate understanding of survival techniques
