Description   MILSPEC in appearance and basic features, the 5.11 TDU Pant takes utility and comfort to a whole new level. Constructed from a 65% polyester / 35% cotton blend of twill or rip-stop, our TDUs have a self-adjusting comfort waist that adjusts itself – no more metal buckles to hassle with. Double-thick seat and knees (with removable neoprene knee pads) and triple-stitching with more than 40 bartacks make these ultra-durable and ultra-comfortable. Standard-sized cargo pockets feature our Back-up Belt System™ and divided magazine pockets. Teflon® treated for dirt and stain resistance. Very disappointing July 13, 2009 Reviewer: Timothy Terrio from Sierra Madre, CA United States   Although they are tough and have very convenient pocket placement, they have two major drawback that made them unwearable. The elastic waist pulls too tight, making the trousers non-breathable, second the inside fabric along the waist digs into your sides, very uncomfortable. I tested these out with a 2 hour hike and about an hour in prone and kneeling at the range. Was this review helpful to you?
