I ordered me the 8" and i have to say its a very solid unit, the back secures into a plastic sleeve which goes over your barrel, in turn preventing any scratches... which is nice. The front has a o-ring which holds it in place, very clever and works great.
BUT the length specified is wrong, my 8" is in fact about 6"... it would be nice if this was SPECIFIED Opsgear.
All in all a great buy.

This looks great on your gun if your wanting the .30 cal, look. I dont say its worth the money tho ( a piece of metal for $40 is just a rip ) but if youve got the money and you really want it go for it because you will love it, it looks real as heck!
