The first problem I encountered was ball chopping. I used premium grade paint and though ball breakage was kept to a minimum I still experienced it, especially when the suppressor was extended to the end of the barrel like advertised "with no ball breakage". During the first night mission is where the major problem was encountered. A long firefight took place where heavy fire was exchanged on both sides. During this long siege the set screw came loose and the suppressor slipped off the barrel and was almost lost on the field. Luckily I found it. I reset the screws and snugged it back on the barrel but it slipped off again later during another long firefight.
I fixed the problem by tapping 4 additional holes in the shroud, two on each end. I tested this on the field at a later game and not once did the suppressor fall off.
As far as intimidation, this kit does the job, but practicality and function leaves a little to be desired. This is an otherwise nice suppressor kit.
