Don't get this for a paintball tank.

Tried this for a 68ci 4500psi tank. It's a pain to get the bottle into and out of the pouch. The retention strap spreads open and will allow the bottle to fall out. The shock cord is useless for this application. Also, with a bottle and remote in it the pouch sags, and the remote ends up sticking out at a 45 degree angle from your back. Works really well for a canteen pouch, though.

It's a canteen pouch. Opsgear chose to label it a tank pouch, which it does barely adequately. It's misrepresentation of information. Less polite term...lying. The straps are placed just too far apart for a 48ci/3000psi tank. So, if you have that sizethere's problems. This is a very common size so it's going to be a problem. The adjustable ties around the opening are a disaster. The plastic locks are cheapand brittle, don't lock properly. Will cause issues when moving. If you want the straps to hold a 48ci/3000psi tank, you have to twist them around to hold. Otherwise, they're spaced too far apart to hold the tank in. Third, when I spoke to customer service about these issues, the first response was "well, we'll do a return with a restocking fee (not sure if there is or he was being a turd) and you have to ship it back at your expense". To me, offering a return automatically is poor business and VERY poor customer service.

Just recived my tank pouch today, it's actually a canteen pouch but it does a nice job as a tank pouch. It's made from cordura and feels very durable. My PMI 72ci 3000 tank fits nice in it, although if the tank was taller it might be a problem getting the starps over the tank. Although once strapped in the tank was solid and secure. All in all I'm happy with my purchase, only wish the pouch was alittle deeper.
