Tacky on the leg strap keeps the holster in place allowing for extended comfortable wear. The drop over flap keeps the weapon clean and mostly dry in rain and field operations. Highly recommended.

Good quality for the price

This holster is truly amazing for that price. It's built of quality materials (of course, it's Blackhawk) and is nicely adjustable and versatile. I use this for airsoft purposes and my M1911A1 fits perfectly without any shaking and it can't really fall off the holster especially when the flap is put down. I also like the fact that the strap what you use to attach the thing to your leg is NOT flexible, it's strong fabric strap.
Just forget the bad quality holsters like Mil-Tec that only break your gun, the Blackhawk Special Operations Holster is top-notch quality fabric holster that will keep your sidearm always easily reachable and safe.
