My dad helped design the Gladius and even the prototype models of this light are amazing. The revolving tail cap is easy to use with one hand and the battery life is great for a light with such a high lumen output. It IS truly blinding, in fact, I believe somewhere overheard that the original models strobe frequency was said to cause siesures in roughly 4% of the worlds population but they fixed that. This light nearly qualified as a "less than lethal" weapon. It is an amazing light.

This is a great light for anyone that is going to be kicking doors. It is bright and the auto strobe that is built into it is unlike anything in the market, talk about confusing the enemy or people when you enter a room and start strobing this light 2 thumbs up from me.

I have used this product for over a year and would use nothing else when making an entry. Been in the dirt, mud and beat up. Batteries last an unusual amount of time.
