I just bought this sight, along with the A3 cary handle and front M4 style barrel post for my 98C.
Unlike my other NCstar sight, this one has a much broader adjustment range for windage and elevation. It however, does have a limited scope of view. Nothing looking past the sight to aquire your targets first, wont fix.
The iron sights line up well for an aftermarket sytem like this. If you would like to take the scope off between games, it can be removed by hand. But even so, the ironsights can still be used with the scope attached. The rear sight can still line up with the front sight post. the area between the sight rail, and the scope mount is not solid, you can see right through it. Again, allowing you to use either the red-dot, or the ironsights.
I like it. If you are looking for an M4 feel, grab the A3 Carry handle, barrel post, weaver hand gaurd, and an adjustable stock. You're set to go.
